Where to Get Fast Food 24 Hours a Day

Where to Get Fast Food 24 Hours a Day

Fast food is among the most popular things to eat for people on the go. Working strange hours, or just simply needing something on the go has forced many people to seek out different options. Many companies are doing their best to take advantage of a 24-hour business, raking in extra business while their competitors are closed. It seems that more and more chains are going the 24-hour route, opting to serve a larger crowd and offer breakfast options as well as their regular menus. Depending on your area, you will find one (or several of these restaurants open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week)

McDonalds

The classic choice for fast food lovers. Many McDonalds are open 24-hours, or are at least closed for a very short amount of time to clean before the breakfast rush. McDonalds has gotten better about their breakfast, offering other options than a greasy McMuffin for the early hours.

White Castle

Made popular by the movie “Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle”, these restaurants cater to the nostalgia seekers and weekend warriors alike. Though it isn’t the greatest food, it certainly isn’t the most expensive either.

Taco Bell

Known for their tasty (but toxic) food, it should come as no surprise that many are open 24 hours. This is also in-part due to the fact that they are often joint stores with other chains that are also open 24-hours.

Dunkin Donuts

Though people constantly bash their coffee, Dunkin has been able to strongly compete with the others of its class. It has its hard core fans, just as other restaurants do, and that is what keeps this place open 24-hours. They do serve breakfast during the morning hours.

Burger King

More recently, burger king has been pushing their breakfast menus, in an attempt to compete with McDonalds. They have strengthened their menu over the past couple of years, working hard to make a better name for themselves in the industry.

Whataburger

A staple in the south, Whataburger has been praised for its good food and great service. Much of the country laments on what it is missing out on.

Jimmy John’s

Kick-butt sandwiches, but definitely on the more expensive end of the spectrum. The quality far outweighs the cost, putting Jimmy John’s at the top of most lists for fast food preferences.

Tim Horton’s

The US version of a Canadian favourite, pales in comparison to its northern counterpart. Still offering coffee 24-hours along with breakfast eats seems like a solid business structure.

Sonic

Another burger joint, turned 24-hour restaurant, Sonic has a lot to offer the night owls. Eating in your car might not be your preferable option, their food more than makes up for it.

Having convenient, ready to eat food, available to you 24-hours a day seems like a pretty dangerous thing. With the cost of food on the rise, it makes sense that fast food joints are bringing in more and more customers with their low cost food. However, this is having a significant impact on the health of many people who choose to eat fast food on a regular basis.
